Instruction Manual
The main
purpose of this simulation is to help to increase the quality of
milk, of DHI Dairy Farmers, by separating cows with
high Somatic Cell Count, thus reducing the
number of total Somatic Cell Count(SCC).
2. Cows in table are arranged from high to
low by Somatic Cell
Count in produced milk.
3. Next, please select
sequentially
the cows with high SCC to simulate the separating of high SCC milk.
4. If unsatisfied with
the simulation results, please go
back and modify the "Excluding Cows for Tank Milk".

Formula=(Total SCC - Separated group SCC)/total
milk yield of remaining cows If milk
proportion does not vary greatly with individual differences, 1Kg of
milk is approximately 1000ml, the numerator
and denominator are multiplied by
the same constant K, where
K is approximately equal to 1000,
therefore omitted.

Separated group SCC, sum of (SCC * milk yield) of
